In week 3, I made window using the technical drawing. I glued them to the card and started cutting the panes in the centre of the window. It was the most difficult part because the frame is too thin to cut. I cut through the centre of frame by mistake, but there was a solution, That is using masking tape to mend it from behind. Cutting masking tape as same tickness of the frame and attaching it to the frame, I could mend the mistake and fix the whole frame. Next, I glued all pieces of window together and put the window to my door model. A curtain which is decorated around the window was made by tinfoil.

Additional task

I was inspired by the miniatures in the film, 'The Science of Sleep'. These miniatures are for stopmotion scenes in the film. Animator Cédric Mercier made an artificial horse with fabrics. Here is another miniature in this film. Stop-motion animator Eric Montchaud and minature set designer and builder Pierre Pell created a mountaintop miniature for a ski scene in the film. Director Gondry utilized this amazing miniature adding some characters on that. Those miniatures look incredible and blended in the scenes well. When I watched this film, I thought they are brilliant in that they use miniatures in the stopmotion scenes because it makes the scenes more unique. I love this creative production.
