This musical tells the stories of women who changed the world, with only six actresses and one fixed stage throughout the performance. Therefore, a number of costumes are utilized to describe various characters. I was impressed by the way different characters and their backgrounds were depicted solely through a variety of costumes and acting. In addition, I was amazed by how minimal props could describe the characters' personality and background. For instance, it was striking to see, one of my favorite painters, Frida Kahlo's characteristics presented using a dress. Since it's a musical, with songs occupying most of the performance, the sounds created by the bands on stage added vitality to the performance. It was a learning experience on how to efficiently describe diverse characters and lead the play with limited cast and space.
